Reminds me of the game paper toss where you try and throw a piece of paper in a garbage bin from far away… except that its a basketball and a hoop from various distances. Graphics: really smooth. nice to look at. basketball net swishes like a real one.. sound: nice sound effects. sounds like real basketballs hitting the ground. game: can be addictive. takes a bit of getting used to but once you get the hang of it, its fun. Basically the goal is to see how many baskets you can get in a certain amount of time. good for when you are bored and want to challenge a friend or something. overall i give 4 on 5. Perhaps they could add a few more features or challenges etc… other than that, I think it would be worth 99 cents if they start charging for it.

This is not the best application for shooting (in Basketball). Try Basketmania...

i know it sounds stupid and it would break the game, but anytime you hit the square on the backborad in real life first then the ball will always go in no matter how fast or hard you throw it but in this it just goes flying back to you, i dont like it cause then there is almost no point of having a backboard

This game is sooooo lame. Its so slow and it glitches.

Each time I click "New Game", it crashes. Havent been able to run it once.

When I first downloaded this it ran VERY slow and was glitchy. If youve having this problem, just go to settings on the main menu and change the effects setting from HI to LOW. When i tried this the gameplay became very smooth and the effects were still very good. One of the better games of this type now that it works.

Terrible. Absoultely terrible. Very unrealistic. If you want a good free basketball game get basketmania. So much better. DO NOT BUY

Most of the negative reviews are from people that expect a game like NBA Live out of this app. The game is fun for passing time and addicting. My only suggestion would be to add a high scores list or a stats page.

The graphics in this game are pretty good, especially the attempt to make it 3D, but the play is very limited compared to similar games. There is no option other than shooting within a time limit. Other games have several options, such as horse, 21, around the world. While the graphics are good, some effects are actually disturbing, like the shaking when there is a clean shot. Maybe the developer can set up some more game options.

I think its a pretty fun game. It would be much more fun if you had to “gauge” how hard to throw the ball. So for example, hold the mouse button for 1 sec and ball is thrown softly….Hold for 5 seconds and ball is thrown hard, etc. - So like a gauge of some kind similar to the ones found in MAdden games when kicking the football. Anyway, i like this game its fun without sucking me in for hours at a time - Good job on the game and thanks! :D
